How to register

To register for online services you'll need a verification/activation code from us. If you haven't received this or have misplaced your code, then please request a new code. When using this option please select the following:  

Customer
Online Access
Enter your plan number selecting online access query
Select 'I need a verification code'

Your code will only be valid until 6pm on the day you requested it but can be used at anytime from 9am the following day. If you can't remember the answers to your security questions or need access to your account immediately, please contact us.

Go to the online services login page, scroll down the page to the section titled Register. In the section that says ‘Who are you?’ select ‘customer’ and then click the register button to start the process.

You’ll then be taken to our registration form where you’ll be asked to provide some personal details, the verification/ activation code sent to you and input a password.

The password you enter must follow the criteria mentioned below in the troubleshooting section. Once you’ve entered all your details and your password, click next.

If the details you provide don’t match our records, you'll see an error message. Please contact us to correct these details before trying again.

Your account will be set up straight away and you can try accessing it by returning to the online services login page.

Trouble shooting guide

To register for access to online services you will need a verification/ activation code. A verification/ activation code is an extra security step we use to check who you are and match the details on our records. If you don’t have a verification/ activation code or have misplaced it please contact us to request a new one.

  • All our codes are lower case and must be entered exactly as per the email/letter you've received.
  • Please make sure you're using the most up-to-date code you've been sent.

If you get an error message explaining the code can’t contain numbers and letters, please return to registration page and try again.

These details must match the full details we hold for you on our records. To check the details we hold on record for you please check the last correspondence we sent you.

Your DOB must match the details we hold for you on our records and should be entered DD/MM/YYYY.

  • Your plan/policy number is seven digits long.
  • If you have more than one plan/policy with us make sure you enter the plan/policy number used to request your code.
  • If your plan/policy starts UP/000 then you only need to enter the last seven digits, for example a plan/policy number of UP/0001234567 would be entered as 1234567.

Please take care when entering your email address as this will be your online user ID. If this is a shared email account please make sure that it hasn’t already been used to register for our online services.

Your password must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between 10 and 128 characters.
  • Contain letters (a–z, A–Z), numbers (0–9).
  • Contain one of the following special characters: ! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
  • Contain at least one small letter, at least one capital letter and at least one number.
  • Not contain three or more consecutive repeating characters (example: 000) or sequences (example: abc,cba,123,321).

If after registering you receive an error message that says 'The plan number is already registered' like as shown below, please return to the online services login page and try logging in with the email address and password you entered. If you can't remember your details then please follow the 'Forgotten your password' or 'Forgotten your user ID' links.
