From 31 March 2024, we’re updating the benchmark for the Aegon BlackRock 30/70 Currency Hedged Global Equity Tracker fund across our insured Pension and Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC) fund ranges.

Nothing else about the fund has changed because of this update. We’re writing to all those affected to let them know.  

The change in more detail

Benchmarks are used to measure a fund’s performance against similar types of investments, similar markets or regions.

We’re updating the benchmark for the Aegon BlackRock 30/70 Currency Hedged Global Equity Tracker to bring it more in line with the underlying fund. 

The old and new benchmarks are in the table below:

Composite Index: 60% FTSE Developed ex UK / 30% FTSE All Share / 10% MSCI Emerging Markets. 

 

Composite Index: 90% FTSE Dev World Custom Hedged / 10% MSCI Emerging Markets.
