On 13 August 2025, we suspended a number of funds across our ARC and Aegon Platform fund ranges, due to a system error the Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) of the funds is experiencing.

We can now confirm that, from 21 August 2025, some funds will resume trading with others resuming over the next six working days.

Why have some funds have resumed trading?

The Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) for the funds previously suspended, Tutman Fund Solutions Limited (Tutman) has published the following update on their website:

‘Following exceptional circumstances, which led to the temporary suspension in dealing of a number of funds due to the global cybersecurity incident at Linedata, our external software provider, we are pleased to update investors on the significant progress made towards lifting the fund suspensions.

We expect to begin lifting the suspension on the first tranche of funds from Thursday, 21 August. We are taking a tiered approach to lifting the suspension, prioritising daily-priced funds in the initial tranches, with more complex fund structures to follow. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is aware of our staged approach. For funds that are not priced daily, we expect trading to resume in time for their next scheduled valuation points. We anticipate that all funds will be up and running within the next six working days.’

Which funds resumed trading?

We’ve listed the funds that are due to resume trading, the date they are resuming and the Aegon fund range they appear in the PDFs below.

We’ll update these lists as we receive more information on funds over the next six working days:

What does this mean for current investors in these funds?

For funds that have resumed trading, this means investors can now make payments into and out of the fund as normal. Any requests for payments out from the date the fund is due to resume will be fulfilled.

What happens to regular payments into these funds?

Regular payments into impacted funds (including reinvested dividend payments) will continue as normal now that the fund has resumed trading. Any payments intended for an impacted fund while it was suspended will have been applied to your individual cash facility.

They will remain there until you give us clear instructions to switch into an alternative investment if you wish to do so.

What if I’m currently taking an income from these funds?

If you were previously taking regular withdrawals from your account, this would have stopped if this was the only fund you hold. This will now resume as normal. If you hold more than one fund in your portfolio, income was taken from those funds while the impacted funds were suspended.

Income will continue to be paid from these funds unless you give us clear instructions to resume taking income from the previously suspended fund.

What happens if I hold these funds in a model portfolio?

If you hold an impacted fund as part of a model portfolio and the portfolio experiences a rebalance, this fund will now be included.

What happens to dividend income from impacted funds?

If you are currently receiving income in the form of dividends, these will continue as normal after the fund has resumed trading.

What current investors need to do

For most activities related to your plan, you don’t need to do anything. Current valuations can be obtained online. As the funds resume trading over the next few days, we’ll update our website as soon as possible. We’ll also be writing to all those affected to let them know. However, to reinvest any payments originally intended for an impacted fund that were re-directed to the individual cash facility, you’ll need to complete a switch instruction to invest into a fund or funds of your choice.

If you hold more than one fund in your portfolio, previously received an income from the suspended fund and want that income to resume, you’ll need to contact us to let us know as soon as possible.

If you’re uncertain about how this affects your investments, you should speak to your financial adviser in the first instance if you need advice about your investments. There’s likely to be a charge for this. If you don’t have a financial adviser, you can find one in your area by visiting moneyhelper or find out more about advice services supported by Aegon by visiting Origen Financial Services.

Origen Financial Services Ltd is wholly owned by Aegon UK plc but operates independently to us.
