On 13 August 2025, we suspended a number of funds across our ARC and Aegon Platform fund ranges, due to a system error the Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) of the funds is experiencing.

Why have the funds suspended trading?

The Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) for the funds listed below, Tutman Fund Solutions Limited (Tutman) has published the following update on their website:

‘As a result of a global cyber security incident impacting one of our external software providers, Tutman Fund Solutions Limited (TFSL) has temporarily suspended dealing on a number of funds serviced by this provider. No client data is at risk and all funds managed by Thesis Unit Trust Management Limited (Tutman), remain fully unaffected. Clients and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have been notified.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and are working to restore normal service as quickly as possible.’

Which funds have been suspended?

The impacted funds (as at 14 August 2025) are listed in the PDFs below:

What does this mean for current investors in these funds?

This means investors are currently unable to invest in, switch out or withdraw money from these funds until the funds resume trading.

What happens to regular payments into these funds?

Regular payments into impacted funds (including reinvested dividend payments) can continue however they will not be invested directly into the fund but instead applied to the individual cash facility.

What if I’m currently taking an income from these funds?

If you’re currently taking regular withdrawals from your account, only hold impacted funds and there is no cash in your cash facility to cover withdrawals from the impacted funds, these withdrawals will have to stop until the fund suspension is lifted.

Where you are taking regular withdrawals and there are other funds in your account, we'll continue to sell down the largest fund to meet these withdrawals (subject to funds being available) unless other sell down methods have been set up.

What happens if I hold these funds in a model portfolio?

If you hold any of the funds as part of a model portfolio and the portfolio experiences a rebalance, the impacted fund will be excluded, and the remaining funds will be rebalanced proportionally.

Regular and single payments into model portfolios can continue, however any amount which would otherwise have been invested into the impacted fund will be moved into your individual cash account facility. It will remain there until you give us clear instructions to switch into an alternative investment, if you wish to do so.

What happens to dividend income from impacted funds?

If you're currently receiving income in the form of dividends, these will continue as normal if the impacted fund pays any while suspended.

What current investors need to do?

We’ll be writing to those in the affected funds shortly.
