On 4 February 2022, we reduced the charge for the Scottish Equitable Schroder UK Alpha Plus fund available to our insured Pension, Life and Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC) investors:
- The Total Charge* for Pension and Life investors decreased from 1.92% to 1.85%.
- The Fund Charge** for ARC investors decreased from 0.92% to 0.85%.
We also reduced the charge for the Aegon Schroder UK Alpha Income (AOR) fund
- The Fund Charge** for AOR investors decreased from 0.92% to 0.82%.
*This includes a standard 1% product charge, a fixed management fee and expenses that vary with the day-to-day costs of running the fund. Investors may pay a different product charge.
**This is on top of any product or adviser charge and includes a fixed management fee plus expenses that vary with the day-to-day costs of running the fund.
Nothing else about the funds has changed because of this, for example the funds aims and objectives, fund manager and Aegon risk rating all remain the same. We’ll update our literature gradually, so you may notice the old and new information in use for a time.
Why have the charges reduced?
The underlying fund manager, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited, reduced the fees they charge on the underlying funds. As a result, we’re reducing the charge for our versions of these funds across our insured Pension, Life, Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC) and Aegon One Retirement (AOR) fund ranges.
For more information on the fund, you can view the relevant fund factsheet via the ‘Fund prices and performance’ page on our website and selecting either ‘Other fund ranges’, , ‘Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC)’ or ‘One Retirement’.
