On 3 June 2019, the LF Equity Income fund (formerly the LF Woodford Equity Income fund) suspended trading until further notice. This fund is an Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC) offered across our Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC) and Aegon Platforms.

On 7 September 2023 we received the following information from Link Fund Solutions Limited (LFSL), the fund’s Authorised Corporate Director (ACD)[1].

Information from LFSL

The information below was received directly from LFSL.

LFSL wish to settle any potential claims that investors may have against it. While LFSL dispute all claims, it is willing to enter into a settlement because it believes that it offers the best outcome for investors and LFSL.

The settlement has been agreed with LFSL’s regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and LFSL’s parent, Link Administration Holdings Limited. It will be put in place using a Court approved process called a scheme of arrangement (the Scheme).

LFSL have prepared an important letter about the Scheme, known as the Practice Statement Letter, which you can view and download at www.lfwoodfordfundscheme.com

Although you don’t need to take action now, it’s important that you read the Practice Statement letter carefully.

If you want to receive a printed copy of the Practice Statement Letter or have any other specific requirements, please call 0333 300 0381[2]*.

You will not be approached by or on behalf of LFSL to make a claim in the Scheme. Don’t give your bank account details, details of your claim or any other personal information to anyone who claims they work for LFSL or on LFSL’s behalf.
