The Aegon Master Trust (AMT) fund range has been carefully selected by the trustees in conjunction with independent advisers, Isio, with the aim of helping scheme members make decisions about where to invest their retirement savings. The range is closely governed by the trustees, with support from Aegon, and seeks to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations as far as possible in line with the trustees’ beliefs.
This focused range aims to keep things simple for members, making their choices more manageable. It has a mix of single and multi-asset funds that invest in UK and overseas securities, and members can use these to create their own bespoke investment strategy from their early career up to retirement.
Focus on sustainability
The range recognises the increasing desire of our customers to invest in line with their beliefs. We also believe, along with the Aegon Master Trust trustees, that investing in firms which consider sustainability issues is key to reducing volatility over the long term – over five years or more. However, while the global economy adjusts to reflect the effects of climate change and other related issues, there’s no guarantee that these investments can reduce volatility.
The Aegon Master Trust fund range applies ESG criteria for all asset classes across the risk spectrum except gilts, with a choice of passive and actively managed funds available.
