Estimated processing times

For Aegon Platform, Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC), One Retirement and Nationwide Building Society customers

We're here to support you and make managing your savings easier. The table below details the estimated processing times for some of our common processes.

One-off withdrawal If enough cash is available, we’ll usually process your request within three working days. Please allow an additional three to five working days for the BACS payment to reach your bank account.

If there isn’t enough cash available and sell downs are required to fund the withdrawal, please allow 13 working days in total.
GIA to ISA switch It typically takes three working days for us to process your request and five working days for the switch to complete.
Single contribution (top up) Payments by bank transfer – it typically takes three to five working days from when the money is sent to us to process your request and purchase units in investments chosen.

Payments by cheque – please allow five working days from when we receive the cheque for your cheque to clear and purchase units in investments chosen.
Transfer in (cash) As soon as we receive the funds from the ceding provider it typically takes three to five working days to apply these and purchase units in the investments chosen.

(re-registration)
As re-registration (in-specie) transfers involve several parties this can take up to eight weeks to complete. This can be much quicker if the ceding provider allows us to use electronic re-registration.
Transfer out (cash) If enough cash is available, we’ll usually process your request within three working days. Please allow an additional three to five working days for the BACS payment to reach the receiving provider’s bank account.

If there isn’t enough cash available and we need to sell funds, please allow 13 working days in total.

As re-registration (in-specie) transfers involve several parties this can take up to eight weeks to complete.  This can be much quicker if the ceding provider allows us to use electronic re-registration.
Switch funds Typically it takes three to five working days after you submit the request for it to complete.  On occasions, it may take longer depending on the investments you are selling and buying.
Set up a direct debit Please allow up to six working days for us to action your request. Once we’ve submitted your direct debit set up instruction to your bank, it can take a further 12 working days before money can be collected. Where a direct debit is fully set up online this process will be quicker.
Updating client records It can take up to six working days to action your request. Please make sure that you’ve sent us any supporting documents we need as outlined on the form or online application.
