Your salary

At Aegon, our salaries are competitive – and reviewed against industry standards. We review salaries annually and colleagues also have the opportunity to participate in our bonus scheme subject to bonus scheme eligibility criteria.
More ‘me’ time

We offer a minimum of 25 holiday days – plus bank holidays. There’s the ability to manage your time off with freedom and flexibility through a holiday trading scheme, too.
For families, we offer 26 weeks of full pay for both maternity and adoption leave – and six weeks of full pay for paternity. These can also be combined into shared parental leave, depending on your family’s needs.
Protecting your future

As the UK’s largest investment platform, we understand the importance of financial wellbeing, which is why we help colleagues prepare and plan for retirement.
We offer a workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute between 8 and 12% of your salary, depending on your age, and you can even top up your contributions through a tax-efficient salary sacrifice plan.
If you're absent from work through illness we're here to help. Our Income Protection Scheme provides support to help you get back to work. If you're unable to work longer term, the scheme can pay up to 70% of your salary for up to 3 years (subject to scheme rules). If you die whist in service, your family can receive six times your annual salary.
On the move

We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time. We want to help our people enjoy their commute to the office more.
That's why we offer colleagues the chance to lease a brand-new, fully maintained and insured electric, hybrid or low-emission vehicle for up to four years.
For those who favour two-wheels over four, we have a Cycle2Work scheme which allows you to fund a bike of your choice from salary deductions over the course of 12 months.
And, if you prefer public transport, we offer interest-free loans to pay for six- or 12-month travel passes, deducted from your salary over several months.
