What is tele-underwriting?

If you tell us about a medical condition and we need more information, we might ask for a tele-interview(Opens new window). The purpose of this interview is to get as much information as possible about the medical condition you've told us about, so we can decide whether we can provide cover and at what level. All of our tele-interviews are carried out by qualified nurses, using a third-party company.
What are the benefits?
