Benchmark change for the Scottish Equitable Janus Henderson Global Technology fund (AOR)
On 30 June 2019, we’re changing the benchmark for the Scottish Equitable Janus Henderson Global Technology fund on Aegon One Retirement (AOR). This change will be reflected in our literature from the end of July; you may notice both old and new objectives in use for a short while.
Nothing else about the fund has changed as a result of this; the way the fund is managed, the fund manager, Aegon risk ratings and fund charges will remain the same.
|Existing benchmark before 30 June 2019||New benchmark after 30 June 2019|
|MSCI All Countries World Information Technology Index||Investment Association (IA) Technology and Telecommunications sector average|
Why we’re making this change
Janus Henderson, the underlying fund manager, recently changed the underlying fund benchmark to a composite of the MSCI All Countries World Information Technology Index and Communications Services Index.
To ensure the Scottish Equitable Janus Henderson Global Technology fund (AOR) remains consistent with its underlying fund, we’ve also reviewed our fund’s benchmark.
However, we’ve selected the IA Technology and Telecommunications sector average as the benchmark because Janus Henderson use this for performance purposes on the underlying fund.
