Why are we making this change?
In March 2015, we made changes to the Scottish Equitable BlackRock Global Bond fund.
Since then, we’ve decided to change the Aegon fund name and bring it into line with the new BlackRock underlying fund name.
The fund name was changed to better reflect the way the fund now invests to achieve its objectives.
As a result, the name will be changing to the following:
Scottish Equitable BlackRock Fixed Income Global Opportunities fund
The old and new fund names are outlined below:
|Fund name before 24 March 2016||New fund name from 24 March 2016|
|Scottish Equitable BlackRock Global Bond||Scottish Equitable BlackRock Fixed Income Global Opportunities|
Details of the changes we made in March 2015 can be found here.
What does this mean for investors?
Current investors don’t need to do anything. Only the name will change. The charges and Aegon risk rating remain the same.
There’s no guarantee that the fund’s objectives will be met. The value of this investment can go down as well as up and investors may get back less than they invested.
