Back to results

On 10 March 2016, the fund charge for the Scottish Equitable Aegon High Income fund will reduce by 0.10% across our insured pension, Aegon One Retirement and Aegon Retirement Choices (ARC) fund ranges.

This change applies to pension, Aegon One Retirement and ARC investors. The fund charge is in addition to any other charges you pay, for example adviser charges, scheme charges, product charges or platform charges. Please see the table below for a summary of these changes:

Fund range Fund charge* before 10 March 2016 Fund charge* from 10 March 2016
Pension 0.70% 0.60%
ARC 0.70% 0.60%
Aegon One Retirement 0.70% 0.60%

*The fund charges for our funds are estimated. Although the majority is made up of an agreed management fee, the expenses element depends on the actual expenses incurred by the underlying fund, so what you actually pay may vary slightly.

Why are we reducing the charge?

Kames Capital, the underlying fund manager, reduced the charge of the underlying fund by 0.10% to keep it more competitive in a currently very crowded market.

As a result, we’re also updating our fund charge to keep it in line with the Kames Capital changes to ensure consistency and avoid confusion.

What does this mean for current investors?

Current investors don’t need to do anything. The fund charge will be updated from 0.70% to 0.60% on 10 March 2016. There are no other changes to the fund.
