Existing fund description New fund description
This fund aims to achieve capital growth by investing primarily in shares or units of collective investment schemes managed by companies judged to be boutique in nature. Boutique investment companies tend to be smaller and specialise in a specific industry or type of investment. This fund invests wholly in the Aberdeen Multi-Manager Equity Managed fund which aims to achieve capital growth by investing primarily in shares of other investment funds. These funds, in turn, invest mostly in shares of companies worldwide. The fund may also invest directly in shares, cash and cash-like investments.

This change will be implemented gradually across our website and supporting literature, so you may notice both the old and new descriptions in use for a time.

What current investors need to do?

Current investors don't need to do anything. Nothing else has changed; the sector, risk rating and charges have remained the same.

Following the merger, we will be reviewing the Scottish Equitable Aberdeen Multi-Manager Constellation Portfolio to ensure it continues to meet customer expectations and our governance criteria.

We will communicate any changes as a result of the review on our website.
