Aberdeen Property fund suspends trading

Back to results

On Thursday 7 July, Aberdeen Fund Managers Limited temporarily suspended trading in the Aberdeen UK Property fund and cancelled all pending trades in this fund.

When the fund reopens the fund manager will apply a dilution levy of up to 17%. This will affect all payments into and out of the fund.

Aberdeen Fund Managers has suspended trading to allow any investors to reconsider their investment decision in light of the dilution levy.

The dilution levy will be applied to the fund so that investors can continue to access their savings, but at a reduced price. They believe this is in the best interests of all investors in the fund.

If you placed a trade in the fund after 12pm on Tuesday 5 July, the trade will be cancelled and the money redirected to your individual cash facility.

If you still wish to trade in this fund, you will need to resubmit your trade instruction. Trading in the fund will be delayed until the fund reopens and the dilution levy will be applied at that point.
