Surveys and research
IFA InsightsAEGON has developed ‘IFA Insights’ to canvas opinion and push forward debate in a time of change for the UK long term savings industry
FSA chairman, Sir Callum McCarthy, issued a challenge to the industry, in September 2006, to find new ways of reaching more customers saying that the existing distribution model isn’t working.
Increasing concerns about consumer confidence in the industry have turned the spotlight on the retail distribution of financial services and sparked a number of research initiatives, culminating in the FSA’s Retail Distribution Review announced in June 2006.
Together these have formed a catalyst driving us to re-examine how we serve the public’s long term savings needs most effectively and, ultimately, how we increase the level of savings in the UK. This is happening against a background of pensions reform and gathering momentum behind the Government’s Financial Capability strategy
AEGON’s ‘IFA Insights’ research initiative aims to cast light on the current views and opinions of a cross section of the advisory market.
Here you will find downloadable copies of the survey reports, information on our industry experts and copies of relevant press articles.
