Today Otto Thoresen presents the final report of his review of generic financial advice. The launch event will be held at HM Treasury, Horseguards Road in London from 8.30 am.

The Thoresen Review was announced in January 2007. Its remit is to research and design a national approach to Generic Financial Advice, as part of the Government's long-term approach to financial capability.

Generic financial advice offers people information and guidance on money issues with the aim of building confidence and understanding to help them take control of their financial situation.
