We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously indeed. We’re very aware that a company of our size uses a lot of resources, but we’re doing everything we can to reduce them – and make sure those we do use don’t cause any damage.

What we’ve done so far

• 20% of our energy comes from renewable sources.
• We’ve installed motion sensors so our lights are only on when we need them.
• We recycled over 70% of our waste in 2007.
• We’re reducing the amount of paper we use by sending information electronically.
• We use recycled paper and chlorine-free ink as much as possible.
• We’ve achieved ISO14001 certification for environmental management in our Edinburgh and Lytham properties.

Our targets

We’ve come a long way, but we’re not stopping there. We’re working on reducing our carbon footprint and have set targets to reduce our overall emissions.
