The role of Partnerships Sales within AEGON Scottish Equitable Sales is to maintain and develop strategic relationships with key accounts, improving profitability and turnover to a level in line with our strategic direction. Partnerships Sales provides a first-class service and has the flexibility to direct administrative resources on the activities that have the most impact on performance.
Responsibilities
As a PA within the London Development Centre, you’ll:
- provide a comprehensive and confidential PA support service to the management team
- play an active role in helping to deliver the department’s goals and objectives
- manage internal and external relationships for the Partnerships team
- check processes, track budgets and maintain an audit trail
- organise and support the management team on a daily and long-term basis
- manage diaries and travel for the management team
- arrange meetings, prepare agendas and take actions at monthly management meetings
- be responsible for the Personal Expense Management System (PEMS) expense submissions, PowerPoint presentations and email management
- co-ordinate events such as one-to-one and team meetings and sales conferences with Corporate Events
- collate and compile monthly sales reports, chasing sales teams against deadlines if needed
- be responsible for general administration support to the Partnerships team, including travel, accommodation, diary management and campaign support
- manage various internal systems and databases, including Flex, Trent, holiday/absence system, staff changes, SID database and ACRE requests
- help with administration for new starters and staff leavers
- prepare invoices for payment
- prepare management information and reports for external/internal customers
- be responsible for financial control and risk management reporting, including preparing and maintaining expenses, budgets and other compliance issues
Requirements
Essential
To be a PA, you must:
- have strong consistent PA experience within financial services
- be a quick learner and be willing to take responsibility for your personal and professional development
- be able to anticipate problems and identify solutions
- have a good working knowledge of all MS Office applications and be willing to brush up your skills when they need it
- feel comfortable communicating at all levels and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers
- be able to organise and plan your own workload and the workloads of others
- have a head for numbers
Desirable:
It would also help if you:
- have worked in life and pensions before
- know about and understand the adviser marketplace
