Self-invested Personal Pension

Breadcrumb Navigation

A self-invested personal pension (SIPP) is a facility on a personal pension where you can choose your own investments rather than relying on the range of investments a pension company offers you.

We offer access to our SIPP through our Flexible Pension Plan and our Retirement Control plan. This self-invested option gives you the flexibility to adapt your pension plan to your changing needs, now and in the future. Please remember, the value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed. You may not get back the amount originally invested.

Investment choice

Self-investment allows you to choose the funds and investments that you want. These can include funds from the pension company your plan is with as well as unit trusts, open-ended investment companies (OEICs), investment trusts and other assets such as property. At AEGON, we allow you to mix and match these investments to suit you.

Your plan will have two elements: the insured element and the self-invested element.
