Select Sector Portfolios

The Select Sector Portfolio range offers a number of key benefits:

• 10 building blocks chosen with help from independent research house Morningstar OBSR covering every major global and specialist sector.
• You can use all of the Sector Portfolios to construct your portfolio or choose just one or two for the asset classes you're less familiar with.
• You and your adviser keep control over the crucial decisions about asset allocation, portfolio construction and rebalancing, but leave the time-consuming job of fund selection and monitoring to us.
• Diversification by fund manager – these portfolios contain a blend of funds managed by what we believe are some of the top investment managers in the UK.
• With the exception of the Absolute Return Select Portfolio* which has its own specific absolute return objective, the funds aim to outperform their benchmarks over rolling three-year periods. Please remember that this is not guaranteed.
• We add or remove funds on advice from Morningstar OBSR to take advantage of prevailing market conditions.
• The funds used in our portfolios are all part of our Guidance Range and so contain a number of independently rated funds.

*The Absolute Return Select Portfolio aims to provide positive returns over a market cycle of three years or more.
